  • Pelvic floor physical therapy addresses the pelvic floor muscles, the deep and superficial core muscles, as well as the diaphragm. Assessment and treatments are performed internally and externally, depending on your need and comfort level.

  • Some signs you may need pelvic floor therapy include, but are not limited to, urinary leakage, coning at your abdomen, pain and or pressure in the pelvic area, hip or low back pain, or constipation.

  • Dress as if you were going to exercise.

  • Inner Strength is a self pay model. All major insurance companies, except Medicare, are out of network. Inner Strength is a participating provider for Medicare part B only. You can call your insurance company and ask them how much they will reimburse for out of network pelvic floor physical therapy.

  • Your initial session includes a detailed assessment of your movement, posture, and symptoms, followed by a personalized treatment plan tailored to your goals.

  • Yes. We treat male pelvic floor conditions such as pain, urinary leakage, and post-surgical recovery, with the same individualized, compassionate approach.

  • Treatment plans vary based on your condition and goals, but most patients begin to notice improvement within the first few sessions.

  • In most cases, yes. We’ll guide you on safe ways to stay active while supporting your healing and recovery.

  • In Florida, you can see a physical therapist directly for up to 30 days without a physician’s referral. After that, a referral may be required for continued treatment.

  • Please bring comfortable clothing, any recent imaging or medical notes, and your completed intake forms if possible.
